On basis of these Terms of Reference, IDH aims to select multiple parties to provide consultancy services, when called for. The service is to address the need to produce design and multimedia products specifically tailored to a growing number of digital channels and messages used by IDH to communicate to its increasingly diverse target audiences.
The overall objective of this assignment is to support the communications team at IDH with the production of communications materials with a short turnover time, high quality and based on a thorough understanding of IDH’s branding guidelines and visual identity. The specific objectives below describe the overall scope of work on which future assignments will be based on:
Write journalistic articles, which may include pitching to newspapers or magazines; Translate written materials, possibly including desktop publishing of the translated materials; Interpret events live and/or online; Edit and/or proofread written texts.
Produce infographics, podcasts, icons, graphs, brochures, flyers and other written material, live action and animated films; Develop branding or visual identity guidelines for products or programs; Provide professional photography services, design power point presentations or pitches.
Write journalistic articles, which may include pitching to newspapers or magazines; Develop branding or visual identity guidelines for a product or program; Carry out media outreach and PR services for a given application; Work with the communications team to develop a communication strategy.
Production of webinars or online conferences, including promotional and follow-up materials; Accompany online or in-person events as a graphic scribe or illustrator.
