Senior Program Officer – SourceUp

Do you have experience as Content Creator/Editor? Are you looking for a job with real impact with a global environment? Would you like to contribute to an exciting new platform aimed at accelerating sustainability in food systems worldwide? If this sounds like a plan, take this opportunity to join IDH as Senior Program Officer – SourceUp!

The program

Our Landscapes approach brings together businesses, government, farmers, communities, and civil society to build sustainable governance models across tropical forest regions, or landscapes. To link Landscapes approaches with Markets, IDH & partners have created the innovative SourceUp platform. SourceUp, one of IDH’s core initiatives, is a two-sided online platform that intends to change the way companies buying agri-commodities, and producing regions collaborate to solve some of the most important environmental and social challenges of supply chains.

SourceUp is based on three fundamental pillars: jurisdictional multi-stakeholder sustainability initiatives (“Compacts”), an online platform (SourceUp platform) and Committed End-Buyers. Through SourceUp, local parties in the Compact can work in close cooperation with the Committed End-Buyers and supply chain actors to achieve both increased sustainability in the jurisdiction as well as demonstrating real impact from the ground.

We are looking for an individual with 4 years of experience in digital content management, who can coordinate the consistency and relevancy of the information present in SourceUp, and who has an interest in sustainability.
