In this context, the Land Degradation Neutrality Technical Assistance Facility (LDN TAF) is seeking a consultant to conduct a scoping assignment to gather information to support Forest First Colombia in their efforts to engaging with the wider landscape in a coordinated, impactful way.
Forest First Colombia is a sustainable forestry operator that is being considered by LDN Fund for investment. The company is developing a large-scale afforestation project in Eastern Colombia, the Vichada region, with the aim of meeting the global demand for sustainable wood fibre and to deliver value to local communities and the environment.
The consultant should have experience with participatory multistakeholder processes in project design, knowledge on policy and regulatory considerations related to land rights and land use planning and working experience in Colombia. IDH, The Sustainable Trade Initiative invites eligible consultants to submit a proposal for this assignment.
