TORs: SME diagnostic analyses, grains supply chains in northern Ghana

IDH is starting a three and a half year market-led grains value chain development program in northern Ghana, to contribute to the development of the grains sector and selected SMEs, support the inclusion of 20,000 smallholder farmers into formal supply chains, and create jobs with a central focus on women and youth empowerment. Establishing a digital platform approach to provide advisory support to SHFs and to facilitate market linkages will be an important program component.

The program will be implemented in northern Ghana from October 2021 until March 2025.

IDH is looking for a consultant firm that that will work with the IDH Program Team in Ghana to assess the business operations and project plans of 12 selected SMEs in the grains supply chains of northern Ghana. Building on these analyses, the consultant will support the design of project implementation plans, to be executed by the SMEs in conjunction with the IDH project team.
