IDH has supported the Better Cotton Initiative in numerous ways since 2008. For example, in 2009 IDH brought together a large group of brand, retailers and investors to form the Better Cotton Fast Track Program. IDH aimed to accelerate the implementation of market uptake and production of Better Cotton through this fund, producers outreach and field level projects structure.
Since 2009 more and more retailers and brands have joined the Better Cotton Fast Track Program, creating the overshoot of all production goals for Better Cotton that IDH had set since 2009.
By the end of 2015 IDH and BCI decided to rename the Better Cotton Fast Track Program into the Growth & Innovation Fund. Read the prospectus
