Ben Horsbrugh

Global Director Food System Transformation & Climate Adaptation


Ben Horsbrugh is Global Director, Food System Transformation & Climate Adaptation at IDH, a new role which will shape and lead the organisation’s strategies in these areas across the globe.  Ben is also part of the IDH Management and Leadership teams.

Ben has worked in the European food and agriculture sector for over thirty years, with a strong focus on fruits and vegetables.  Having started his career in the organic sector, he spent the last 15 years focusing on quality management, sustainability, and agricultural certification systems. Before joining IDH he was Sustainability Director for the EMEA region of Dole plc.    

In his spare time, Ben loves music, coaching, cooking, cycling and spending time with friends and family, preferably in the Drome region of Southern France.
