Training smallholder tea farmers

Farmer Field Schools (FFS) help farmers bridge their knowledge gap. Farmers who attended an FFS in the past adopted better practices, and improved the quality of their yield. This resulted in the delivery of high-quality green leaf. Farmers’ improved produce could in turn be sold at a higher price, boosting the smallholder’s income, thus improving the livelihood of the smallholder, family members, and the community at large.
