Creating a win-win by improving working conditions and profitability in factories

Race to the Top in Vietnam is the first pre-competitive, locally owned multi-stakeholder initiative, to promote and integrate sustainable manufacturing practices and better working conditions in the Vietnamese apparel and footwear sector.

Since its launch in 2015, key successes include:

  • Increased worker voice and soft skills of workers
  • Improved productivity and working conditions
  • Engaged employees at all factory levels through training
