Lilian Laxer
Senior Finance Executive with over 30 years’ experience in Corporate Banking and Trade Finance, with in-depth knowledge of the banking sector, credit, banking and structured products. Senior Banker at Commerzbank, Rabobank and Lloyds and Relationship Manager at MetLife; highly focused on the strategic and financial needs of large corporations.
Lilian has extensive experience in the agribusiness industry with companies in different sectors such as inputs (fertilisers, agrochemicals, seeds, animal feed, distributors, resellers, cooperatives), grains, orange juice, cotton, forestry and pulp and paper, sugar and alcohol, animal protein, crop-livestock-forest integration, food retail, among others.
Among financial operations, she has played an active role in Barter Programmes, Forfaiting, Receivables Funds (FIDC), Agribusiness Receivables Certificates (CRA), Mergers and Acquisitions and Financial Consulting.
Lilian joins the IDH Brazil team as an independent consultant, focussing on supporting current financial partnerships and looking for new opportunities to expand them, bringing financial approaches that make sense to small farmers.
Adelaine Cezar
With a degree in Geography from the Federal University of Mato Grosso and a Master’s degree in Environment and Regional Development, with an emphasis on the Dynamics of Nature and Anthropic Actions, Adelaine has extensive experience in environmental management having made several contributions in the state of Mato Grosso.
Throughout her career, she has worked in areas such as licensing (energy, mining and forestry), transparency of environmental information, georeferencing, CAR, analysis, research and project management in public, private and third sector initiatives.
She was involved in the promotion of environmental information in the government of the state of Mato Grosso, in supporting the implementation of a UNDP project and, in the past two years, she has provided a number of consultancies in the areas of sustainability and territorial information management for institutions: GIZ, ICV, IIS, IICA and Tropenbos Internacional.
Adelaine joined the IDH Brazil team to contribute to the management of projects co-funded in partnership with the private sector in the state of Mato Grosso and also to collaborate with the expansion of the territorial strategy in the state of Pará.
