Showcasing ways to integrate gender aspects into supply chain approaches

Today we start to Orange The World for 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence. From today, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, until 10 December, Human Rights Day, IDH is proud to be joining this year’s global 16 Days of Activism campaign, calling for action to raise awareness of and prevent violence against women.

On our social media channels we will be voicing how improving gender equality had a positive impact on business outcomes. These examples can also be found in our updated Gender Toolkit. In this toolkit, through nine practical cases from IDH and from similar projects in sector that we work in, we showcase ways to integrate gender aspects into supply chain approaches. Across all IDH projects, we are committed to empowering women and it is our strong belief that addressing gender is crucial to creating sustainable value chains.
