Tender Impact Evaluation 2013-2020

In the period of 2016-2020, IDH will engage in 11 sectors with a focus on addressing deep impact issues (“high-hanging fruits”), such as deforestation, living wage, sexual harassment on crop plantations, smallholder productivity & livelihood improvements, and reducing the toxic load of agro-chemicals.

On these challenges, IDH aims to transform business practices and strengthen public-private sector governance in such a way that these externalities are internalized into how that the commodity markets operate and develop, thereby fundamentally contributing to positive impact at scale on people and planet supported by viable economic mechanisms.

Through this tender procedure, IDH intends to select a party that will evaluate our impact from 2013 to 2020. The evaluation should answer the overall question on whether IDH has created good public impact in the four key impact areas, through changes in business practices, sector governance and field-level. This question should be assessed using the criteria of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability and impact.

This tender procedure is subject to Dutch Procurement Law 2012 and more particularly to the provision regarding the restricted Tender Procedure. The Selection Guidelines which you can find on the link below only covers the first phase of the tender procedure. It contains general information about IDH, the project and information regarding the Selection Phase.
