Touton’s nutrition intervention under the CNIP has reached out to a total of 700 farmers in cocoa growing communities throughout 2018 and 2019. The pilot program was a two-pronged intervention to increase awareness on the importance of nutrition and hygiene, and to improve access to nutritious food products (e.g. vegetables, fruits, and animal proteins), therefore tackling nutrition and food security from both awareness and access perspectives.
