Oct 24-27 Fairtrade Africa will be hosting the second annual Sweet Smelling Fair in Sambava, Madagascar. Thanks to the know-how of producers and operators throughout the production chain, Madagascar remains the world leader in the production of vanilla in quantity and quality. Producer associations, cooperatives and traders in the Fairtrade system will showcase Fairtrade certified products such as vanilla and other herbs and spices, processed fruits and other local products. The Vanilla FAIR will bring together big companies and economic operators concerned during the-four-day-event as part of this economic exchange.
