Under Beyond Chocolate, a co-financing fund of 2 million euros was made available by Belgian Development Cooperation for living income projects in cocoa. 8 co-financed projects are currently being implemented in Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Democratic Republic of Congo.

Through this learning event, Beyond Chocolate aims to share interesting approaches, learnings and challenges from these pilots in order to inspire stakeholders to adopt impactful living income interventions and models. The event will feature several project partners and will address the following topics:

  • How to adopt price mechanisms within holistic living income approaches
  • How to create an enabling environment to reaching a living income
  • How to build the case for living income branded products
